Referral Criteria for Inspired 360 Alternative Provision

At Inspired 360 Alternative Provision, we provide holistic support for children and young people who may need additional educational, therapeutic, emotional, behavioural, or wellbeing interventions to help them engage positively with learning and reach their full potential. Our services cater to learners who benefit from a personalised, flexible, and holistic approach to support.

Referrals are considered for young people whose needs may not be fully met through mainstream provision alone and who require targeted interventions to enhance educational engagement, attendance, wellbeing, independence, and future outcomes.

Learners may be referred if they:

- Are at risk of exclusion or have faced suspension or exclusion from education.

- Present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

- Experience anxiety, emotional wellbeing challenges, or barriers to learning.

- Have low attendance, persistent absence, or school avoidance issues.

- Require alternative provision or personalised educational support.

- Have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

- Require Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or other therapeutic interventions.

- Would benefit from mentoring, advocacy, or wellbeing support.

- Need assistance with emotional regulation, behaviour, or social interaction.

- Are facing family, social, or environmental challenges impacting their education.

- Require support during transition periods between educational settings.

- Need additional help to develop independence, confidence, and life skills.

Referral Process

To ensure we can provide the most suitable support, referrals should include:

- Learner details and contact information.

- Current educational placement and attendance data.

- Details of identified needs and presenting concerns.

- Relevant reports, assessments, or professional recommendations.

- EHCP documentation (where applicable).

- Safeguarding and risk information (where relevant).

- Desired outcomes and support objectives.
