Reporting a Concern - Inspired 360 Alternative Provision

At Inspired 360 Alternative Provision, the safety and wellbeing of children and young people is our highest priority. We encourage anyone who has a concern about the welfare, safety, or wellbeing of a child or young person to report it as soon as possible. All concerns are taken seriously, treated sensitively, and responded to in accordance with our safeguarding policies and procedures.

We are committed to creating an environment where learners, families, staff, professionals, and members of the public feel confident in reporting concerns. Whether the concern relates to safeguarding, welfare, wellbeing, bullying, neglect, abuse, online safety, behaviour, or any situation that may place a young person at risk, we will ensure that appropriate action is taken promptly and professionally.

Our safeguarding team will carefully assess all information received and, where necessary, work collaboratively with relevant agencies to ensure that children and young people receive the support and protection they need. Reporting concerns can help safeguard a young person and may play a vital role in preventing harm.

When Should You Report a Concern?

If you are worried about a child's safety or wellbeing.

If a young person discloses information that causes concern.

If you witness behaviour that may place a child at risk.

If you suspect abuse, neglect, exploitation, or harm.

If you have concerns about bullying, online safety, or peer relationships.

If you believe a learner may require additional support or intervention.

What Happens Next?

Your concern is received and reviewed.

Information is assessed by the safeguarding team.

Appropriate action is taken in line with safeguarding procedures.

Relevant agencies may be contacted where necessary.

Support and intervention are coordinated to protect the young person.
